Bash Plate
Utilising the renowned skills of Walkinshaw Group’s Engineering department, under the leadership of Chief Engineer Trevor Barallon, the Triton Xtreme was given the extra underbody protection of a bash plate with an integrated lightbar, incorporating venting to ensure air flow for extra cooling.
Forged Aluminium Wheels
Featuring an 18 x 8.5” Forged Aluminium wheel in Gloss Graphite Grey with a deeper dish and unique profile spoke, coupled with a BF Goodridge all-terrain tyre. These premium wheels are lightweight offering an enriched drive experience, as well as eye catching good looks. The vehicle appears lower, wider and stronger due to the deep dish and flared wheel arches.
Xtreme Suspension
The suspension upgrades, developed in collaboration with Supashock Advanced Suspension, replaced all 4 dampers and has vastly improved the on and off-road capability of the vehicle. The Triton Xtreme includes an upgraded 52mm monotube damper with a 20mm rod design, with the front damper running a remote canister and the rear running a piggyback system. Extensive testing and tuning were conducted off-road in the harsh terrains of outback Australia. The result is a valve code that exceeds in off-road performance, whilst retaining on-road precision, comfort, and handling.Features such as the 46mm piston give Supashock extreme control over the damping characteristics, and the structural design of the dampers has been bolstered. These factors enabled the Triton Xtreme to maintain high levels of vehicle dynamics, and the Triton’s core towing capabilities at a GVM of 2,900kg, and a GCM of 5,885kg.The Triton Xtreme’s suspension, wheel and tyre configuration exceeded the performance of the base line vehicle in all aspects.
